Infertility Treatments

- Assisted reproductive technology (ART): One of the high technical infertility treatments, are the assisted reproductively technology (ART) that include sophisticated surgical techniques to provide a lasting cure to infertility problems. Some of the well-known ART techniques are as follows:
- In Vitro Fertilization: This is an artificial reproductive technology that involves extracting a healthy egg from the ovary of a woman, and fertilizing it with a healthy sperm, all inside the laboratory, under highly aseptic conditions. Once the fertilization occurs under artificial conditions, physician will place the embryo in the receptor’s uterus.
- Electro-ejaculation: Men with serious back injuries find it very difficult to have satisfactory sex life and such people will also fail to produce enough quantity of semen under normal ejaculatory conditions. Electro-ejaculation will help extract semen from people with serious disabilities.
- Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): This unique method consists of a sensitive microscopic technique of injecting a single sperm cell into an egg to achieve fertilization and conception.
